January is the time for New Year’s resolutions, whether it be breaking a bad habit or taking control of your finances.  With that in mind, the Outreach and Witness Committee is excited to announce that a personal finance class will begin on Sunday, January 29th at 5pm in the Parlor.  The selected course is Managing Our Finances God’s Way and will be led by A.J. and Jen Chambers. 

The program consists of 7 one-hour sessions focused on topics such as Planning Your Spending, Giving as an Act of Worship, Saving and Investing, God’s Solution to Debt, and Enjoying What God Has Given You.  During each session, we will view a DVD together and engage in small group discussions on specific financial topics. 

The class is open to the community and we encourage members to invite friends and family to attend as well.  The cost to participants is $17 for the entire course and nursery care will be provided as needed.  If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please contact A.J. or Jen at chambers.vet@gmail.com or at (717) 530-2468.
