Seekers’ Class

An adult study group open to anyone.

“From the first generation of Christians to the earliest Methodist to the youngest generations of faithful members today, the followers of Jesus mature in faith by learning together in community….As [John] Wesley and the early Methodists realized, growth in faith does not come easily or automatically, but requires placing ourselves in community to learn the faith with others.”1

Join us each Sunday, 10:30 am in the Messiah Church parlor.

Our current study is  “Living on the Edge” by Chip Ingram.  We have been studying the book of Romans.  For this we go back to Romans chapt. 12 for a ten session in depth study which seeks to answer the question “What is a disciple?”

  • This week:  How to Come to Grips with the Real You (Romans 12:3-8)
  • Helpful resources can be found at www.LivingontheEdge.org and many of them are free.
  • Read Romans 12 each day.

Our on-going question: Why do we accumulate so much stuff and how can be break that pattern?
